The Travel Pages partners with GPSmycity to bring you travel apps based on our most popular pages, to improve your vacation experience.
What is GPSmycity?
GPSmyCity is a mobile app that provides self-guided city walking tours and travel articles for over 1,500 cities worldwide. The app transforms your smartphone into a personal tour guide by offering GPS-enabled directions for pre-planned routes, allowing you to explore at your own pace without needing to be online.
Why Partner with GPSmycity?
GPSmycity approached The Travel Pages as they’d seen that many of our travel pieces would be ideally suited to creating their walking tours or travel articles. As a result they’ve converted 25 of our most popular pages, mostly into walking tours and some into travel articles to read on their app. We love the fact that you can download the material and follow their tours without having to be online.
We were recently in Malaga and used their tour of Pablo Picasso’s Malaga, which took us to places we wanted to see, like the Picasso Museum and the Picasso Birthplace Museum, without having to be online. We downloaded the app using the wifi in our Airbnb, which was just round the corner from the Picasso Museum, and off we went without needing our Mobile Data switched on. No risk of roaming charges! No losing the signal!
